Special Paper Stocks & Materials
Uncoated matte paper is great for vintage looks. It does not have a finish on it so it is absorbent and results in a soft, saturated feel. We recommend coated paper for glossy, crisp photographs..
Fabrics such as linens, hemp, and cloth can go around any kind of chipboard material. Vinyl leather material is another fun alternative to paper. Printing on fabric and leather is difficult. Foil stamping goes well with these types of mediums.
Special Paper Stocks:
Uncoated paper is a great way to impart a soft texture, and watercolor or vintage effect. Paper is without a coating so the ink will be absorbent and will spread a little more than it will on coated paper.
Fiberboard paper is harvested from end of chain pulp material that is usually discarded, and combined with recycled material. It is unbleached and brownish in color. There is no coating applied so it is very absorbent. If you want a true white color, spot white ink printing will be required.
